The local community is being encouraged to join in the fun and have a “Grand Day Out” at the High Down Infants School Summer Fair on Saturday 6th July. The theme will be Wallace and Gromit and the school’s fantastic “Gromit Unleashed” sculpture will be on display – fully decorated by the children!

Apparently not everybody in the world is on Facebook (although it sometimes seems like it) so some people have been unable to access the Practically Perfect Market – Portishead Facebook page. In order to remedy this oversight I’ve decided to set up a 2nd space for buying, selling and donating babies and children’s toys, clothes and equipment right here on the site. The idea is just the same – a FREE friendly space to buy, sell, give away or request baby and children’s items,

The Council is now in the position to seek your views on the possible expansion of St Peter’s C of E Primary School from an up to 420 place school to an up to 630 place primary school with effect from September 2014.
