The woodland with a large pond centrepiece dating back to medieval times offers a free outing with free parking. Children enjoy natural pursuits here, from racing pooh sticks in the stream to playing hide and seek with a woodland backdrop.

Directions to Abbots Pool, Bristol
Turn off the A369 between Bristol and Portishead at The George Pub, Abbots Leigh and follow the signs to Abbots Pool.
Facilities: No toilets. No cafe. Free on site parking.
