Firework Displays in Portishead and Beyond
1st to 15th November

With bonfire night just around the corner, I’ve compiled a guide to local events including two major Firework displays in Portishead and a range other displays nearby – including a low noise option for those who aren’t keen on the big bangs. Please always check with the organiser before you travel as display times may be subject to change.

Puxton Park

Cowslip Lane, Hewish

Saturday 1 November – Open at 5pm. Display at 7.00pm

Come and join us for our annual Bonfire event with spectacular fireworks! The park will be closing at 4.30pm for normal trade and the doors will re-open at 5pm. Firing time is at 7.00pm We will have lots of stalls and our 3 storey playbarn will be open as well as an Inflatable Helter Skelter, Tombola, Pig roast,Burger Van, Test your strength Machine, Face Painting, Candy Floss, childrens rides and lots more…

Bristol Zoo Family Friendly Fireworks

Bristol Zoo Gardens

Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th November Gates open 5pm
Display expected to start at 5:45pm (subject to change, depending on weather conditions).

Our Family Friendly Fireworks will be back for three evenings of great family entertainment this November, from Tuesday 4th – Thursday 6th.

Beautiful, low-noise fireworks will light up Bristol Zoo on Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th November 2014 adding a sparkle to Guy Fawkes Night without the loud bangs that might frighten your little ones or our animals. The specially designed, toddler and animal friendly Bonfire Nights include beautiful fireworks chosen to make the event one to remember.

Hot drinks and wintery treats will also be available to buy.

Adult prices are £6.75, children £5.25 and children under 2 are free.*
All money raised from this event will be spent supporting Bristol Zoo’s charitable objectives.

High Down Fireworks

High Down Junior School, Portishead

8th Nov 2014 Gates open 18:30  Display Starts: 19:30 PM

Always popular with families, the annual High Down Fireworks aerial display is professionally launched by Bristol-based Skyburst. The large terraced grounds make this the perfect venue for a really memorable Fireworks Night.

refreshments available,

‘Glow Light’ stall.

(Short interval at 7:45pm)

Tickets are £4 per person in advance (under 5s free) or £6 on the gate

    High Down Junior School Fireworks is always fab (even in the rain!). You get a great view and there is a good viewing room for those that aren’t keen on the noise! under 5’s free!
