Welcome to my 2022 round-up of fireworks displays for bonfire night in Bristol and North Somerset.
This handy guide features charity events, bonfires, quiet fireworks for those who aren’t keen on the big bangs, plus plenty of food, drink, music as well as other forms of entertainment to accompany the firework displays in Bristol and surrounding areas.
I currently have TEN fireworks displays in the Bristol and North Somerset areas listed. If you know of any others or would like your own event added, please drop me a line.
5th November falls on a Saturday this year. Some of the displays are being held the week before, some on Guy Fawkes Night itself, with others stretching out over the following couple of weeks, so whether you’re looking for fireworks in Bristol tonight or a display in North Somerset later in November, we’ve got you covered!

BRISTOL CHARITY FIREWORKS FIESTA AT CANFORD PARK
Saturday 5th November 2022
Canford Park, Canford Lane, Bristol, Westbury-on-Trym, BS9 3NX
Gates open at 5.30 pm and the main display begins at 7 pm.
There will be musical entertainment plus food, non-alcoholic drinks and glow sticks, etc available for purchase.
No car parking at this Bonfire Night Bristol event – people are encouraged to walk to the event or use local transport.
Tickets: £9 (early bird rate of £7.50 before 22nd Oct).

OLD DOWN COUNTRY PARK FIREWORKS NIGHTS
3rd, 4th & 5th November 2022

Old Down Country Park will host quiet fireworks nights on Thursday 3rd, Friday 4th, and Saturday 5th of November 2022 with a bonfire and low-noise fireworks to music.

ALMONDSBURY CREATIVE TRIBUTE TO THE QUEENS FIREWORKS 2022
Friday 4th 2022
Fireworks will be choreographed to music.
This year, they have live music from a Queen tribute band to keep the party going after the fireworks.
Gates open at 4 pm.
Fireworks will go off around 7.30 pm and will be choreographed to some of Queen’s greatest hits.
After the fireworks, the Queen tribute band takes to the stage.
During the evening they’re planning walkabout entertainers, stage shows, a funfair, food stalls, craft stalls, music & drinks.
Adults tickets: £12.50
Child tickets: £7.50
Carer tickets: £7.50
Parking tickets are sold separately, are extremely limited and parking is off-site

AVON VALLEY SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS TO MUSIC
Friday 4th and Sat 5th November 2022

Fireworks display at Avon Valley Park with a (chargeable) funfair and food and drink stalls.
This event is held on open farmland so remember to wear suitable footwear (boots or wellies).
5 – 9 pm with the display at around 7 pm
FIREWORK DISPLAYS IN NORTH SOMERSET
CADBURY HOUSE ANNUAL FIREWORKS NIGHT

Ticket includes live music from Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Dennis DeMille.
Fairground stalls, BBQ, and drinks tent available.

FIREWORK DISPLAY IN PORTISHEAD

PUXTON PARK FIREWORKS DISPLAY 2022

Puxton’s Fireworks Extravaganza opens at 5.30pm and the Fireworks display starts at 7pm.
Tickets are £10 per person or 4 tickets for £36. Children under 2 go free.

WESTON-SUPER-MARE CRICKET CLUB BONFIRE & FIREWORKS NIGHT

- Fireworks display plus a bonfire in a family-friendly environment with a mini funfair.
- Food & refreshments will include hog roast & pizza plus an inside & outside bar.
- Gates open 5.30 pm and the bonfire is lit at 7 pm. Fireworks at 7.30.
Family £20 in advance / £25 on the gate
Adult ticket (16 & over) – £8 in advance / £10 on the gate

THE GRAND PIER FIREWORKS AT SEA

- Doors open at 6.30 pm (6 pm for Ruby ticket holders)
- Fireworks will take place at approximately 8 pm (subject to tide and weather conditions)
- The event ends at 9.30 pm.
Standard tickets – From £12.50 to include entry and unlimited rides.
Gold, Platinum and Ruby ticket packages are also available.
