MOORLAND GARDEN HOTEL VIDEO TOUR AND FAMILY REVIEW
The Moorland Garden Hotel in Yelverton, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, is firmly in my good books as it offers not only spacious and beautifully decorated accommodation, mouth-watering food and extensive gardens but it also features interconnecting rooms, meaning our family of five can sleep the way we’d like to – my husband and I in one room and our three sons in another. This may sound like a simple thing to ask but it can be surprisingly difficult to find in Britain.
We stayed at the Moorland Garden for two nights and enjoyed plenty of really fun family attractions and scenery nearby, such as River Dart Country Park, Morwellham Quay, Dartmoor National Park, the National Marine Aquarium, Bigbury on Sea, Cholwell Farm Riding Stables and Plymouth’s natural harbour
There’s lots of written information about the hotel and surrounding area in my previous post about the Dartmoor region.
If you’re lucky enough to be in the market for a luxury hotel stay, check out my new hotel video at the top of this post. It’ll give you a really good idea of what’s on offer at Moorland Garden Hotel and which facilities were particularly popular from both our children’s and our own perspectives.
I think it’s really interesting to offer a review by the whole family as we all have different priorities and opinions. Personally I loved the decor, comfortable beds and friendly service; I think my husband most appreciated the fact that a bar was connected to the hotel so we could go out and stay in simultaneously; Our boys’ highlights included the large gardens (which offer plenty of scope for playing football) and having a TV in their own room.
