Swish for Charity in Portishead
An awesome friend of mine is one of four ladies organising an evening of clothes swapping to raise money for a very worthwhile charity – and swish is not as kinky as it sounds apparently.
Bring a few items of clothes, shoes or accessories that you would be proud to pass on to the event and they will be added to the rails. You will then have an opportunity to browse and try on before the big swish dash. It’s a thoroughly fun girly evening and apparently there will be Prosecco.
You can bring your clothes with you on the night or bring them to the Fox Cycling studio at Kestrel Court where they’ll be collecting them in advance of the evening. Please bring clothing on a hanger so it’s ready to display.
If you can’t make it to the event but have items you would like to donate the ladies organising it would be incredibly grateful. Any clothing left over will go straight to a charity shop so nothing will go to waste.
Also at the event there will be a beautician, nail artist, hair stylst, fashion expert, raffle and live band.
All proceeds of the clothes swap will go to the charity ‘Above and Beyond’.
So why not grab a couple of friends and head on down to Somerset Hall next Friday. You never know what treasures you might come home with! Oh and did I mention there will be Prosecco?
