DICK WHITTINGTON FAMILY PANTO TICKETS GIVEAWAY

WITH THE BRISTOL HIPPODROME

GIVEAWAY ENDS 26TH NOVEMBER AT 12 AM

The countdown is on for the ultimate tail of “wags to riches”, Dick Whittington – this year’s award winning spectacular family pantomime at The Bristol Hippodrome and we’re celebrating by giving away two sets of Dick Whittington tickets.

Starring as Alice Fitzwarren and her dog will be Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey – who won rave reviews for their panto appearance in Manchester last year. Appearing alongside them will be  Ben Faulks (aka Mr Bloom from CBeebies) as Dick Whittington, Bristol’s favourite Andy Ford as Idle Jack, panto dame extraordinaire Eric Potts as Sarah the Cook and X Factor’s Brenda Edwards as Fairy Bowbells.

The run will include the first ‘relaxed performance’ of panto at The Bristol Hippodrome on December 30 2014 at 2.00 pm, aimed at anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment including people with an autistic spectrum condition, sensory and communication disorders or a learning disability.

Dick Whittington is set to feature all the traditional pantomime ingredients; sensational songs, a live band, dazzling dance routines, hilarious slapstick comedy and bags of audience participation, plus the magnificent sets and costumes The Bristol Hippodrome panto is famous for.

And to kick Christmas off in style, The Bristol Hipppodrome has given me 2 family sets of Dick Whittington tickets to give away.

Time is precious. Times when family and laughter mix are priceless. Especially those times when a family apart get together. Makes those laughter moments priceless and a memory never forgotten and much cherished.

    Love, Love, Love Christmas!!!
My favourite way to prepare for the big day is when we decorate the Christmas tree with the children, listening to Christmas songs, on the day we attend Christingle Service at Church to sing lovely Christmas carols.

  • Michele skipp 25/11/2014, 10:17

My favourite thing is buying our Christmas tree. Going to a forest – searching for hours for the perfect tree, then chopping it down and bringing it home to decorate with miracle on 34th street on the tv!

    I love the pressie shopping.

  • Sonia Goddard 17/11/2014, 14:10

    I love all that is involved in the build up to the big day. Two of my favourites parts are;
Decorating the tree in the first weekend in December with a glass of warm mulled wine,
    And
Before all the madness and mayhem begins, we always go to the crib service on Christmas Eve, leaving presents for mothers and children in difficult circumstances, which also reminds us of the purpose of celebrating Christmas and being thankful for all we already have.

  • rachelreallife 15/11/2014, 18:34

I love wrapping up presents. We tend do them on Christmas Eve, with Christmas songs on. I love all the build up.

  • Shell 15/11/2014, 07:32

my favourite part about Christmas is all the preparation up to it. The lights turning on, visiting santas grotto the look on my 3 year old daughters face is so priceless !

  • Amanda 13/11/2014, 22:39

Where to begin? Boys have made their lists, I have made the cake, the rest will follow but what I love to do is take a walk along the High St when the beautiful Christmas Lights are up with my family and soak up the atmosphere of Christmas. I also let the kids decorate the Christmas cake on Christmas eve!

  • Helen Edwell 12/11/2014, 19:02

My favourite way of preparing for Christmas is lots of lists and planning. Try to get the bulk of the shopping out of the way before December and then enjoy stress free shopping days in December soaking up the festive atmosphere. This year we are not having a cake so the boys and I are going to attempt a gingerbread house. Will it stay stood up? My favourite day of the festive season has to be Christmas Eve. Greeting guests, carols in church and the heightened anticipation of what the following day will bring. Crack open the champagne!

  • jo 12/11/2014, 08:33

  • Emily Greentree 12/11/2014, 07:37

I love listening to Christmas songs, decorating the Christmas tree with dan and having a glass of baileys, having an annual Christmas shopping trip with my mum and aunties, and this year I am excited to be cooking Christmas dinner, our first Christmas in our own home. Love Christmas!

  • 76sunflowers 12/11/2014, 07:01

It has to be the food!! Planning the special shopping trip for all the extras, making the mince pies and sausage rolls with the children, Stir up Sunday for the pudding – we never do a cake! – and then deciding which roast to go for – usually always turkey 🙂
