If you can’t beat them, sometimes you just have to join them.
My eight year old enjoys all sorts of computer games and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him heading straight down the ‘computer geek’ route in a few years. His 6 year old brother is not such an independent ‘gamer’, but he is very willing to act as ‘player 2’. Three year old Zu occasionally joins in with his brothers, but I certainly wouldn’t say he’s addicted. Although, maybe I should rephrase that. He wasn’t addicted until he discovered Skylanders Giants this summer. . . .
Skylanders Giants officially launches tomorrow (19th October 2012). Our little boys had a special preview this summer at Lollibop Festival in London and they cannot wait to get hold of the game themselves. Here’s a little video of what happened when our little boys took on The Giants earlier this year!
