My big boys and I love going to the theatre, so when we were invited to the press launch of Starlight Express I was very flattered but also a bit scared! As a Bristolian I’ve been going to the Bristol Hippodrome since I was a child and in more recent years with my own children, so to be at this amazing institution in a ‘professional’ capacity was a tiny bit daunting. Lake Grounds Play Area – Adequate or Not?

As little ones, all my children have had masses of great fresh-air-fun at the Lakegrounds play area and as a parent, the surrounding facilities have made it a preferred local destination.

Almost eight years on, however, our visits have become rarer. Sadly my children are outgrowing the Lakegrounds and now we often find ourselves driving outside of Portishead for age appropriate play areas.

So when I received the following letter from another local Mum I was somewhat shocked. . . .

Clevedon Children’s Centre offers support and information for the community.

They host Tums to Tots, Peep 3’s, Well Baby Clinic, Childminders’ Group, Simply Play+, Baby Peep and Young Parents Group as well as a Housing Benefit Surgery.
